Our goal is to help researchers at the University of Fribourg, and beyond, share complex scientific ideas in a clear and engaging way without compromising scientific rigor. Through close collaboration between researchers, authors, and an editorial and scientific review team, the project provides a creative, reliable, and professional framework for science communication.
The project generates societal value by strengthening scientific literacy, critical thinking, and engagement among young people aged 15 to 25, a key audience that is both highly exposed to digital content and insufficiently reached by existing science communication channels. By aligning its content with educational contexts and contemporary digital practices of young people, the platform helps bridge the gap between academic research and society.
Beyond its societal impact, the project also contributes to economic and institutional value creation. It supports universities and research institutions in fulfilling their mission of knowledge transfer, enhances the visibility and societal relevance of publicly funded research, and fosters a culture of innovation in how research results are disseminated.
